1. A nice place to walk in London this weekend: Little Venice
Situated along Regent’s Canal, Little Venice boasts beautiful scenery and adorable canal boats! You can get to it from Paddington Station or Warwick Avenue tube station. Perfect for a weekend afternoon stroll, you’ll also find things like cute canal boat bookshops and restaurants to visit on your way.
2. A very colourful and instagrammable London hidden gem: Neal’s Yard
Neal’s Yard is a colourful nook of Covent Garden featuring restaurants and shops. In particular, I love Homeslice, which serves fantastic pizza!
3. London hidden gems for the flower lover: Kew Gardens
I’ve talked about Kew Gardens before in my article about parks in London and, while it’s not exactly hidden, it is a bit out of the way. But, it’s well worth the trip on a sunny day!
4. Something quick to do in London this weekend: Crossrail Place Roof Garden
This rooftop garden in Canary Wharf is perfect for a weekend stroll. Plus, you’re near lots of fantastic restaurants and bars and it’s not usually too crowded in the area.
5. Unusual places to go for a drink in London: Speakeasies
Now, this is more of a category than a specific place to go, but there are tonnes of lovely secret bars in London that are worth a visit. For example, Bart’s in Chelsea, secret bars at Breakfast club locations, and the Covent Garden Social Club.
6. Unusual things to do in London for art lovers: Sir John Soane’s Museum
One of the most unique museums in London is Sir John Soane’s Museum. It boasts furniture, antiquities, models, drawings, sculptures and paintings by the likes of Turner and Canaletto. Best of all, admission is free!

Now, this is one I’ve never done myself but have lots of friends who have. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can climb to the top of the O2 Arena in Greenwich for great views and a little adrenaline.

Wilton’s Music Hall in Shadwell is one of the oldest venues in London, opening in 1859. You can still attend performances there and they also have a lovely bar!

I lived right by Hampstead Heath (at the other end to the Pergola) for a year and didn’t know this existed until my current flatmates told me about it. this spot is perfect for taking in lovely views over London!
